I use this loadout for hiking, mountain marathons and bicycle touring. The tent is slightly wider than my shoulders and I can't sit up inside it but it has kept me warm and dry through gale force winds and in sub zero temperatures. The small footprint means I can camp almost anywhere a person could lie down and one side rolls up with an insect mesh so that it is not suffocating during summer.
The mat is pretty heavy but I trust it more than those Neoair types on rough thorny ground. It insulates my torso and thighs and I usually put my feet up on a pannier or rucksack to keep the loft around my lower legs on cold nights.
