There is a new iteration of MiWay 5. The last one most of the peak routes; this one introduces a revised route 100 (does not go to UTM) and a new express route, 142.
MiWay’s proposed changes for 2018:
>15 Drew: Improved frequency.>22 Finch: Improved frequency.>23 Lakeshore: Improved frequency.>38 Creditview: Terminates at Meadowvale Business Park instead of Meadowvale Town Centre and streamlined (rerouted onto Central Parkway and Erindale Station Road instead of Wolfedale Road; removal of Bancroft Drive milk run).>42 Derry: Streamlined (rerouted along Derry Road instead of Old Derry Road; removal of Meadowvale Boulevard milk run).>57 Courtneypark: Terminates at Renforth Station instead of Islington Station and rerouted (Winston Churchill Boulevard, Lisgar GO, Meadowpine Boulevard, Meadowvale Boulevard instead of Aquitaine Avenue, Meadowvale GO); Old Derry Road instead of Derry Road)>61(A) Mavis: removal of a branch. Terminates at Sheridan College (Davis Campus) at all times, rerouted along Ray Lawson Boulevard (in Brampton) instead of Twain Avenue.>100 Airport Express: New express route running from Winston Churchill Station to Pearson Airport via the Transitway.>101 Dundas Express: New Sunday service. >142 Derry Express: New express route along Derry, follows the rerouted 42.Construction from the Burnhamthorpe Water Project, the Hurontario LRT, and the Six Points reconfiguration will affect many routes.
