>>1612902on a windy day or any slightly imperfect ground a cheep kick stand will screw you over
its much better to just lay the bike on the ground than to lean it on anything
also as per
>>1612887 they will wear out and get floppy, the adjustable length ones bend easy
kick stands mounted near the bottom bracket have a lot of problems due to BB height variation and not all bikes having a mounting plate
chain stay mounted kickstands work a little better but place a bit much stress on the chain stay
most dual leg kick stands have clearance issues with derailleur gear system
axle mounted is good as the height is more consistent and the mounting point is sold
as for cheep bottle cages they work with cheep plastic bottles but not much else
I dont like the taste of water from plastic bottles so I got a stainless steel bottle, but it needs a different kind of bottle cage to hold as metal does not flex
.eg like nitto R bottle cage or irus king cage or Velocity bottle Trap
bearing in mind that your bottle must be the right diameter to fit in, for some I expanded the diameter using electrical tape
