>>1507900i actually postponed my first trip to may 29th, which was the first day hotels and camp sites were allowed to open after the lockdown. alltogether i only camped 3 times, because the other times i stayed with my parents, sister, and brother, and once in a motel because for 2 days i was going with my cousin who didn't want to camp. but i think i remember seeing numerous open camp sites, one in my sister's town as well.
one thing that made me unsure was that i never found a check-in time when looking at campsites online. pic related was my first stay, and you had to check in before 7pm, which i didn't know, i arrived at 7:10 and was lucky because the lady there was just about to close up and go home. so the next day i called my next potential campsite and asked how late i could check in (and since they had a hotel and restaurant too it was until late in the evening).
that said, i have so little experience travelling that i now feel more confident camping than i do checking into a room. i do wish wild camping was allowed though, just in case i don't find a campsite it would take away the pressure, but if there is a campsite i would prefer it because of the infrastructure.
as far as electronics go, i have a nokia brickphone which lasts a week, and a laptop for emergency internet, which i didn't even recharge because i only used it briefly. could have recharged it at the campsites though. if i ever buy a new bike it will have a usb charger connected to the dynamo though.
