actual mesurements of chain widths are hard to come by, 6 to 8 speed either being slightly above or below 7.2 mm but not by more than 0.1 mm, probably makes no difference
standard chain for is 3/32" width rollers and half inch chain pitch, no problems here
people seem to like the shram 870 chain anyway
