It was quite warm here today, 27c and not a cloud in the sky, which was unpleasantly warm for me. Still managed to go well on my loop, but I was on the verge of overheating at times.
I decided to do a little experiment where I weighed myself before and after the ride, to see how much weight I lost from sweating (is there any other way you can lose weight during a ride?). I lost 2kg during the ride, while drinking 2l of water during the ride. So I assume I lost 4kg by sweating, which is fucking crazy for a ride of only 2.5 hours.
Am I missing something or do I actually have to drink 4l of water during a ride like this? I already seem to take more with me than pretty much any other cyclist I see with my 2x 1l bottles. I am also quite a small guy at 62kg and I generally dont sweat a lot, so I assume most riders would have to drink even more than me.
