I got this a few days ago, the goal is to restore as cheap as possible although I think I'll get a new fork to replace this one which I don't think was original.
It had stickers saying it has Vitus 181 tubing but they were over the clear coat so I'm not sure I trust them. It is pretty light though and it does seem to be double butted. The paintjob isn't original.
I got a nasty surprise yesterday though, the spokes are rusty beyond recovery so I had to order new ones, it will be my first time building a wheel. Ambrosio 19 Extra Elite rims, infamous for being the hardest rims to put tires on, we'll see how that goes ahah. Already broke two plastic levers just taking those old tires out just to give you an idea.
