I've ridden the Caledonian Sleeper a bunch of times. Fun experience but the rolling stock is getting really clapped out now. Especially when you compare it to the Cornwall sleeper, which has the same stock but has been refurbished recently.
My cabin on the most recent Cally trip was especially ratty. Berth lights held on with gaffer tape, door handle attached with wire and super loose, trim on the little desk/sink was battered and cracked, privacy blind was fucked, little hook to hold the door open was fucked.
Food is also absolute garbage on both Cally and Cornwall lines. If you're doing full Fort William to Euston or Paddington to St.Ives route you can get a better breakfast/dinner five minutes walk from the station at either end.
That being said, the beds are always clean and comfy and the views in the morning are incredible.
