if you have not gone to the above mentioned forums then definitely go and do some reading on the ANG process. From my reading I have gathered that besides qualification, most of the interview is on YOU, they want to make sure they like you.
The A-10 is a sweet bird man, I'm more attracted to the dog fighting oriented hardware though.
