the 3K i got weighs 236g, UD weighs 235g
i had the intuition that a 3K outer layer would be preferable for a complex shape like an aero handlebar and it seems to be confirmed
the difference is so noticeable in a back-to-back comparison that i don't think it's just production variance or a new and improved version
they make them in matte as well, it's personal preference but i think the gloss will look great along with the carbon saddle and the glossy painted bike frame
if i had carbon wheels i think i'd go with matte rims though
