>>1793895I don't like hydraulic brakes or rim brakes any more. After about 10.000km of all-weather biking my Magura HS33 stopped functioning properly. The exposed part of the hydraulic piston catches dirt and grime and starts to jam, and your rims ar getting eaten up. And who enjoys fucking around with brake bleeding? Best brakes I had so fare were Shimano roller brakes, but I understand they do not work for long downhill load. What I use now are Avid BB7 mtb. They are great, once they have been taken apart and were properly greased with LM47. I ride pic related. Not yet documented: Changed tyres to Super Moto X 26x2.4, and will install a bySchulz suspension seatpost tonight. Also, huge frame bag was added and 20mm pedal spacers. This bike is ideal for me. Reasonably light, yet sturdy and maneuverable, and it can carry lots of stuff. The hipster version of the army bike.
