>>1935497>>1935498Oh yeah and when going from 7-speed HG to 7/8-speed HG, you need to make sure the chain won’t collide with the frame right above the dropout in the tallest gear, since the cassette is scooted outboard slightly (which is just open space on 7-speed HG, and may have frame seatstay metal there)
For reference i put an 11s deore cassette on a 7/8-speed HG freehub (new wheel) and it works great, I believe 12 speed is possible with Deore or NX
