The Marin headlands was the first bike in my search that finally 'excited' me. It's 1x which isn't ideal, and it's carbon so I'll probably end up treating it with kid gloves when its being transported, but everything else about it I love and my local shop is having a pretty big sale on the frameset (while the Headlands 1 is out of stock in my size). Extremely tempted, but I've never built a bike before.
