This means cyclists are riding on the road, and cars are used to cyclists.
My (relatively) small town has enough bike lanes and shared paths that I don't have to ride with traffic very often. When I do though there is no problem. How do you go for long rides in the country if you're only riding on footpaths? Don't you get in the way of the foot traffic?
