I never said global warming isn't real mind you but you are a fool if you think it's an imminent threat and are willing to give up your freedoms. Judging by the UN's own numbers the cost of damage is about the same as the cost of market intervention (cap and trade pyramid scheme) so it's not even rational to be willing to give up your freedoms.
Why aren't you afraid of asteroids and solar flares as much? Did you know that in 2012 we unironically missed a solar flare by 9 days that would have killed millions??? Why don't you jump up and down demanding government solutions to that problem???
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_2012>The solar storm of 2012 was an unusually large and strong coronal mass ejection (CME) event that occurred on July 23 that year. It missed the Earth with a margin of approximately nine days, as the equator of the Sun rotates around its own axis with a period of about 25 days.[1] The region that produced the outburst was thus not pointed directly towards the Earth at that time. The strength of the eruption was comparable to the 1859 Carrington event that caused damage to electric equipment worldwide, which at that time consisted mostly of telegraph stations.
