But you lack the tan lines so you must not ride very much, therefore your endurance must be low. Rugby is mostly a power sport not so much an endurance sport.
Also if you claim to play rugby then you have upper body muscle unnecessary for a cyclist, therefore you're heavier and would be slow climbing hills; wave bye-bye to the pack as they out-climb you. Your ability to generate 1500+ watts in bursts of a few seconds length isn't going to save you.
