Obviously pulse jets are the best choice. But I'm pretty sure that you have to build them a specific way to avoid patent infringement or they are completely illegal to build in any way. Even so it's gay that there is a potentially elegant solution that we are not allowed to pursue even for personal use.
But yeah they are fukken sex. The best part is they need no tail rotor! IMO they are the best option for the "everyman" aircraft. They're almost more simple to build than a fucking car and better controlled and safer than an autogyro!
