I bought this bike a while ago with the idea I’d get into more “serious” mountain biking than my rigid bike likes but remembered how much I hate greasy spring forks so I ended up not riding it much (not even in the race I originally bought it for) so I gave it to my gf. I only have 2 large projects left to complete, after which I’ll be bored, so I’m considering an air fork and disc brake conversion to make it actually good. Any good new cheap 26” air forks still in production or do I go with the forbidden Chinese? I think I’d go cable discs so I can keep the Deore levers
