>>1759475The RAD1 started as college project by Gary Pimentel, bring full sums to mountainiking. There were about 20 prototypes made (I have 2 full frames not shown) but it never made it. My machinist contact tells me the history, and I think I’ll remember it, but I always blank. I should ask him to write down a bunch of pages.
Here is a pic to what little RAD1 history exists. Funny thing is that the frame pictured is the very same one I picked up in the latest haul (the middle frame in the previous pic)
I need to reach out to the Bmx museum, because I think they’ll want one of the front frame pieces, because they have a complete rad, but with a cracked front triangle
