I'd have to start in Vienna. That's like 3 days of riding? If I get a long holiday, it might be worth it, but it's probably gonna cost 10x as much as a flight. Night trains are only worth it if you get your own cabin, and then it's really expensive. And you've gotta book through the horrible, horrible ÖBB site. But train sex is nice, so there's that.

Yeah, that's OK-ish, but if you wanna actually book the trip, you have to work with pic related. Well, I guess they improved it. Since summer last year or something, you at least get that loading screen. Before that, I just htough my connection had died or something.

On the private companies:
Don't have too much experience with those, besides NWB, but I'm also hearing bad things from my friends in the Stuttgart area, so I'm kinda biased.
