the 1x is good for a cruiser. leaving the mech as a chainkeeper, if it's necessary, is fine.
The pink cables look great but above anon is right, you should recable it and not use the cable stops. get a new non-rusty noodle for the front while you're at it.
That one piece bar/stem is really cool, but you could maybe butcher it and cut the cable stop off. Or maybe like bolt a little action figure standing inside it or attach a light there or a little compartment to keep things in.
Grips. Just black I think.
I also think this bike really needs a front basket and a -nice- bell. For the basket, maybe get a front rack and then find a copper metal basket from a homeware store and ziptie it on.
And yeah, the tires are fucking ugly, they're inherently ugly, and you've got a bit much black, the hubs, derailer, your saddle, so they clash as well. Get some skinwall paselas.
