Work was recently finished on extending one of the branch lines. It was previously called the Tonsley Line and it was considered one of the most useless lines in the city due to it being short and terminating in a pointless place (the terminus was where the bridge ramp is in pic related).
The entire extension is essentially one long bridge that goes over multiple main roads and a motorway, linking the rail line to Flinders Hospital and Flinders University - it's finally useful!
