Digital stop signs where a passenger can see departure times in real time are of course perfect, however there are always many stops where is a lower demand and the application of the big digital sign with all the electricity connection would be pretty expensive. In Brno they introduced these simple digital signs with a small electronic paper screen which can be powered only with a small solar panel. Pretty good solution although I would welcome better sign design.
