- returns/warranty shit is infinitely easier when you can just take it to the local Trek dealer instead of packing it up and mailing it to fucking China (assuming you get any kind of return privilege or warranty protection in the first place)
- the 2-4 month delivery time would be a dealbreaker for me, but maybe you don't care about pissing away major chunks of your life waiting for something to come in the mail just because you wanted to save a few bucks
