A shoe manufacturer has plants in China and Indonesia and they are shipped to a store near us. We decide if we want to buy it. Eggs and dairy products are trucked from a nearby companies that supply us. Cars parts are manufactured just about everywhere in the world.
If you mean G**gle or Faceb**k I guess they would be considered a global service provider.
