>>1660370I ride on the aero bars a lot and would have aero bars even if I had drops so their presence is irrelevant. As for flats+bar ends instead of drops, partly because it's just the bar that the bike came with, but also because when I ride that bike I'm often doing long rides and like to either be in the aero bars or in an upright position, I wouldn't really have much use for the drops, and a flat bar is more comfortable than the tops on drop bars. I like drops and have drops on two of my bikes, just not ideal for what I use this bike for.
