>>1687513>>1687562picrel is a old shit barcon that i bodged on to start sorting out the drivetrain. it looks a little weird because it needed a spacer - the bolt was too long. it took a bit of trial an error to get the rear wheel positioned properly in the track-style fork ends, but the drivetrain functions in the stand. the chain line looked a little sus, so i ordered a drop-stop chainring from daddy bezos. still might have to change the bb anyway but we'll see i guess. drivetrain will be 46 x 11-32.
>>1687609this is a great idea. i set up the current test-shifter to function within that range. i'm heading to the co-op this weekend to look for a proper downtube shifter to serve as a base, then have my buddy weld/solder/braze (?) a tube onto it. hopefully that works well enough to put in the effort on something more refined.
