>>1240615Damn son, calm the hell down before the Buzzfeed FUD you're spouting makes you have a heart attack. You sound like the people who were screaming that repealing Net Neutrality would make their Comcast bills spike to the thousands. When accounting for shipping and the higher wages being demanded by Chinese workers manufacturing stuff there to import to the US is now nearly as expensive as manufacturing in the US is. That's why Foxconn and others are building factories in the Midwest, and why manufacturers looking to cheap out are going to Mexico now instead of China. It's why the US has 327,000 new manufacturing jobs in the last 12 months:

Same goes for the bike frame makers. You can get a top-end carbon frame built in Arkansas for around $3,000, same as a top-end carbon frame built in Chenzhou.
Dunno why I'm wasting these words on someone like you though.
>>1240631Jobs aren't the big problem right now, cost of living is. The cost of living is so exorbitant in many places like CA and Washington that it's easy for people to be fully employed in jobs that pay more than minimum and still be homeless and waiting for Section 8 housing. The artificial housing scarcity created by the banks needs to be dealt with. Problem is, dealing with it risks popping the real estate bubble, which means more rounds of QE and more war to keep the USD propped up.
