>>1803499>Try cleaning them, do dish soap + warm water first, then use isopropyl alcohol.Ive cleaned them with disc brake cleaner, vbrake arms and lever are Avid SD 3 and they barely flex, current pads are from jagwire with cartridge and 3 types of compund including salmon, but they simply dont bite nor get worn out since there isnt much grip, Im pretty sure the braking surface isnt machined and it does feel quite slick - you dont see the signs of machining on them like you see on modern rims. Ill try new rims later but first Ill try to figure out where does the lack of braking performance come from
