#1 priority is zero flat tires and soft plush ride. Maintenance is fine but not weak ass tires

It's really simple. Figure out what tire you want:
26"
27.5"/ 650b
29" / 700c

Then figure out your desired width

<32mm is for super smooth pavement
~up to 38mm can handle very smooth hard packed dirt and super easy mode."trails"
Up til about 1-1/2" can do a bit more, but will be squirrelly on sand and loose wash out gravel bits.
2"+ now you can do absolutely everything including rolling off curbs effortlessly. A nice comfy cloud cushion.

Well, not everything. 3"-5" now you can do sand and snow
