I think you should get the Fuji touring 2018 though. It's almost identical spec to the Nashbar, but edges it on a few things. More importantly it has a better frame, made from higher quality steel and a nice lugged fork as opposed to the nashbar's gaspipe unicrown fork. This will make a tangible difference and the Fuji will ride nicer. I think it looks better too. Its $1000.
The one most important spec is that you like it, buy a bike you like and you'll want to ride it. Make your call on arbitrary preferences. If you think it makes sense but it just doesn't click, get something else.
