you need around 70k for the initial training and then, depending on the airline, around 30k for the rating.
for instance, condor and AUA etc, the more "prestigous" airlines, pay your rating and even pay you money while you do it, while ryanair and most of the low cost carriers have you pay it.
currently the situation looks very good, this year my flightschool managed to get jobs for 3x the people who graduated (many of them graduated earlier obviously).
i hope the trand continues as i will be finished with my training next year.
