the pads also have very limited options for adjustment of depth, so they simultaneously have too much and too little range of movement
pads require 1 mm clearance and not 1.5 mm, not a huge deal but still..
due to asymmetric cable routing v brakes require a high quality spring tension adjustment to function properly
disk brakes much like v brakes also wear out quickly but for different reasons
but they never stop working entirely and eliminate many problems with wheel size and rim alignment
ill leave it to you to fill in what flaws disk brakes have, but I doubt you will be able to do so
