They are less comfortable, they transmit more damage to the wheelset, they are not as fast. You have to constantly inflate the tire or else you can get pinch flats since the tire has no cushion or margin for error. You just cannot hop on the bike a week or two weeks later and hope it has enough psi to prevent a pinch flat.Are you gay or a fred gravel grinder?
I ride 20mm on the front and will ride it until it wears out (did the same with the back when I got the bike, now I have 23mm on the back).
If you have technique from years of mtb, you wont be a big gay that complains.
