My carbon framed bike has developed a sort of dead thud sound in the rear triangle/rear wheel of the bike. If I pick up the the front tire a few inches and drop it the bike bounces and sounds more lively. If I pick up the rear wheel and drop it the sound is just kind of dead. I took everything off the frame and looked really carefully and gently tried flexing the stays and I can't find any sort of cracks or damage. I also can't find anything wrong with the wheel either.
Does this sound like an actual problem? Is my bike about explode?
