>>1946407wax is supposed to be lower friction than thick/greasy oil and it won't absorb dirt since it's solid. i'm not sure what the ingredients are in rock n roll gold but it's very low friction and i suspect that it has wax in it, the white stuff that accumulates in the bottom of the bottle seems like it's too much for it to all be PTFE since PTFE is expensive and it seems irresponsible for the environment to use that much of it. mineral oil based hydraulic fluid would be a bit nicer than olive oil. hydraulic fluid fits the bill for pic related. you can get it pretty cheap in different ISO VG grades, it doesn't have to be LHM+ which tends to be more expensive
