This concept usually works quite well, as the short line gets a double use, as an Ogden-centered commuter line, and a feeder line to Salt Lake City. Small DMUs are also quite economical to operate. An hourly service in either direction would suffice here, and for that just 3 DMU units would do the trick (2 in operation plus 1 backup)
