>>1546170How're the microshift working? Are there some good points that you can point out?
Love the shine
>>1546178Lovely, but I think the other anon was right when he pointed out that the old shifter models had poor consideration on the ergonomics, compared with the new ones.
>>1546191Love it, makes me remember my first real bike. Even had bullhorns and downtube shifters. Right on the memories when I used to rode to my girlfriend house past midnight.
Well guys, as I mentioned before I got a job as a teacher in some rural areas of México. After getting there a few times on bus and walking long distances, I decided to go for a try on the old road to there. Basically a trail but way more suited for mtb than my old road bike with 28's. At some point I thought I wouldn't be able to get there, but after 6 hours of ride, I finally arrived.
A way too dangerous adventure to go in alone, and definitely not suited for my set up.
Next week I'll take the road, as every person with some common sense would have do to begin with, and I'll let that tortuous path to any other chance when I fell more ready for it. Definitely enjoyed the travel, but I don't want to risk myself like that if I'm expected to get on time on school with some books.
The worst part was definitely when I faced the fact that rain had landslided a big part of the road, and I had to do some short of hiking an climbing (with a bike and a heavy bagpack) to get on the other side. Is basically and abandoned road, so I don't expect anyone to try and repair it soon.
Pic related was at the first 30km.
