Me looking for jobs, and finding that every place I want to work at is an hour away and I have to endure the guaranteed freeway traffic during rush hour. Now I work somewhere else, now I work somewhere closer, but pays less and isn't even related to the career path that I took an education for.
There was no instance in college where I was told by some liberal professor about this idea. Turns out, people don't want to spend a good chunk of their life inside a car stuck in traffic every working day.
