>>1285132If the steamer is in working condition, then it is always cheaper and easier to run it on its own power. And safer aswell. Towing ships is always dangerous. In harbour, you can drive it into thinks and damage/sink it. On an open sea... well you know what tends to happen to ships without power..
One of other norwegian steamers starred in the Dunkirk movie as the sunk hospital ship and she was hired along with the crew and everything. They even got new gratis coat of paint! A bargain I say!
