feeling like an idiot but i need to ask this question. how do you actually brake on an ebike?
with something like this:
https://ebikes.ca/shop/ready-to-roll-kits/front-rtr/front-g311-ready-to-roll-kit.htmlwhich is a hub motor without gears but "optional" ebrakes? do i use the throttle to brake or my regular levers after conversion?
what if i am rolling along with the throttle engaged and i need to do an emergency stop can i just grab my brakes as i normally would, or is the motor gonna keep trying to go forward, so do i need to stop the throttle first then brake which would take longer?
sorry i'm really new to ebikes and thinking about a conversion for my road bike for commuting. i see mention of regen braking, braking sensors, throttle braking and aaaaa i'm just confused and i don't wanna be nervous in an emergency stop kinda situation haha
