the rival 22 rim brake set is currently out of stock on bike24 and i'm now considering the sram force rim brake set. i thought rival 22 brakes would be the best match for the sram s300 crankset because of the gloss black and silver/light grey print. but i don't really think the rival 22 brakes are beautiful, and maybe their black/silver contrast would steal attention from the rest of the bike. these sram force brakes are rebranded older sram red brakes, they're marginally lighter and maybe have slightly better braking feel. the grey metallic finish might look cool and not as plasticky as the gloss black. but would it stick out like a sore thumb since it isn't color coordinated with the rest of the bike? the bike frame is red with black details. the components are black with 3k gloss carbon details on the saddle and handlebar.
