>>1075562Damn you--! I won't be outdone! Forgive the shit picture, I know it doesn't show much.
In any case:
Had to space out the frame from 110mm to 120mm to fit a freewheel (frame will likely not survive this forever). The tires and rims from BMX; Kink Atlas deserves a shout-out. Spokes are double-butted because I have no idea when to stop. I'm sure you're already familiar with the seat, looks like you have the same. Rear hub is a vintage Fichtel-Sachs drum hub threaded for a freewheel. Whoo! Freewheel is a 14-24 range type. Rear derailer is a Suntour U. You already know the front derailer. The front hub is a Shimano NX-60F dynohub with a roller brake attached (BR-80--once again I do not know when to stop). I was supposed to rig LED lights front and rear but am lazy. Pedals are a mystery; they were abandoned destined for the trash at the co-op (Working Bikes Chicago IL; I'd volunteer if I didn't live literally two hours away). Handlebar and stem are original. Threw a Wald Pizza Rack on after changing out the old vintage headlamp. Used a pair of Shimano Power Thumb (nice ratchet!) shifters for front and rear. I'm sure you know but with the Spirt I move both levers in the same direction to shift up or down. Mint. The clamp-on bottle holder is self-explanatory; the bottle originally held beer.
Wrecked off this bike and put a horrific gash in my arm breaking my fall on railway gravel while trying to test JUST how unstable the traction was on the front end. The pizza rack didn't help; it added rotational inertia to my steering that made control that much more difficult.
I do not know when to stop. Still up is a "kids at play" sign for the sissy bar depicting a child on a tricycle, and a set of Lumotec stand lights front and rear. You've got a better frame to work with than me for sure. What to do...??
>DisraeliGears.comNo idea what the fuck this is and trying to get to it now is a disappointment supreme pizza.
