> at 10km teammate asks for pump, ok.>ask him if he wants tube, he does> leave him with pump, tube, and levers, roll on> at 37km in the middle of nowhere suddenly> flat rear, 40km to the end and parking lot where the car is left. And in this moment it starts raining heavily.>no tube, no pump, no nothing. Cant call other teammates to pick me up since im the one with the car keys.> after 10 minutes of waving suddenly one kind soul stops and lends the tools, ask if i need tire lever hellyeah.jpg > gives me the pump, tube, and a small ikea spoon as a lever>finish race.>at end find out the teammate that borrowed the tube, had 2 flats that day.To this day i use the ikea spoon regularly, just as a spoon.
Nowadays i ride tubeless on mtb, but on the road bike get regularly pinch flats from potholes, but its my fault for not looking where im going.
