Raleigh Record Ace, mine for £75. He threw in various freewheels, bits and some random tools. And a cheap lock.
So far I have spent £10 on it in the form of a freewheel removal tool. I also removed the mudguards, because they made it look 350 years old as opposed to 35. Next up is the front tyre, which is going to be replaced to match the rear.
It's aged, but it rides well and the frame, fork and stays are all Reynolds 531 with only minor surface rust, no dents and it's all straight. The Weinmann brakes stop, eventually, and it shifts alright considering the state it was in when I picked it up. I'm slightly too tall for it, but I'm keeping it as I'm quite fond and hopefully someone will come along who can give it a decent home.
I saw the same bike, same size, same year, same gear going for £850 on a certain hispter bike website.
