What's the impact of handlebar width on bike fit? I reverted the flat bar conversion of the previous owner did with my bike and opted for a 44cm compact drop bar (on the taller side, not huge but not short). However I had the opportunity to try a 42cm and found it felt pretty good. I'm not sure if it's the most signficant geometry difference as this other bike was set up more for endurance and thus comfort, but overall it felt nice.
