a common sentiment i heard from him and many other people who were on the scene back then was "this is going to change cycling"
seems the moment somone put chunky tyres and big gears on bicycles everyone just instantly knew what a big deal it was gonna be
i wonder if werr ever gonna have a moment like this again?
i mean weve got alot of innovations but nothing truely game changing
it looked so much more fun back then too, biking is too serious now and all bikes are too over specialized
