that’s my ugly beast. i’ve inherited from a fellow bike traveller who made about 11.000km around southamerica, i’ve added about 4000 more. is heavy and rigid as a train rail, but almost indestructible. i’ve abused it on streets, roads, trails and dirts, many times with heavy loaded panniers or a big crate. it’s scratched, chipped and dented beyond imaginable.
the seat you see was a temporary replacement, good for raping but terrible for riding. the bars are a local ripoff of a jones loopbar, pretty sweet for my numbing wrists.
recently had to replace all the train drive (because years and km) but beeing a poorfag had to use cheap/used parts. swapped to a single chainring and 9v cassette, and some incredibly awful pink crankarms, adding more awfulness to the image.
fork is causing me some trouble, it’s almost permanently locked, living as i do in a 3rd world shithole, finding a decent 26r is almost imposible.
still rides amazing.
