I’m considering buying 2 new wheels and mounting true road tires to them, then buying a wheel bag to put my mountain wheels in and strapping it to my backpack so I can switch them at the trailhead, lock up my road wheelset somewhere, and use my mountain wheels on the trails until Im done and can switch them to bike back home with.
Any thoughts or improvements on what I can do?
Also what wheels do you think I should get, cheapass disposable ones or decent mountain wheels I can use as backup if mine ever break?
