This detention pond is fun to ride down in the winter. Used as toboggin hill it gets packed into a smooth bowl. You can bomb down the steep sides along the levy and your momentum carries you out. Where I took the photo is a service road going up to the pump house, which makes an easy way to get back to the top if you don't feel like riding up the steep part for another run.
It started snowing mid ride and I choked on inhaled snow flakes a few times.
